How we determine what is a hit and what is complete...
The rating system we follow at GreenMuze.com is based on our writers grading materials and vacation spots from 1-5 green stars, 1 star is lower on the scale and 5 stars is the highest rating we will give a book, film, magazine and vacation spot.
(1 green star): OK, but maybe not worth paying a lot of money to see in the cinema or buy the book/magazine.

(2 green stars): OK, probably more for the layperson as opposed to the dedicated greenie.

(3 green stars): Worth seeing/reading, but maybe not perfect. Hell there is always room for improvement, right?

(4 green stars): Recommended and well-worth seeing/visiting. Information will appeal to a wide range of people from the lay-greenie to the experienced environmentalist. Worth paying the price to see/own/visit, etc.

(5 green stars): Must see/read/do — a book/film/magazine/vacation spot that makes an important contribution to the environmental movement and/or public discourse. Might not just be a book/film/magazine/vacation, could be the start of a revolution!
Please note: if our writers really despise a book/film/magazine, we will choose not to review it. Although we may do the occasional pity-review if someone is really trying to make a difference. All books, films and magazines will be donated to libraries once the review process is completed.
