Is NBC so pro-American meat-eating traditions that they won’t contemplate a vegetarian Thanksgiving? In a bid to raise awareness about the plight of turkeys during the holiday season, PETA created a rather benign video – Grace – where a little girl talks about the reality of turkeys raised in factory farms during her prayer of thanks.
The video, even though rather tame by PETA’s standards, was refused an opportunity to purchase an advertising slot during the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade special as the network found that the advertisement “does not meet NBC Universal standards”.

The people or 'person' at NBC who refused this is a horrible human being. This is reality folks. This video is benign. And it's the truth. If people don't like to see it, keep your heads in the sand and the birds will suffer and so will the land and the environment because of your greedy guts. Read "Diet for a New America" and wake up. Happy Holidays.

The U.S. prides itself on having the most free speech in the world (the First Amendment). So why doesn't it HAVE it? Because money (ad revenue) speaks louder than words? Government doesn't need to take away free speech if business does it for them?
For the wise and noble turkey - thank you PETA.
