Five legged chickens, goldfish sushi and dogs and bunnies as sources of meat. These uncomfortable images are part of The Meat Factory project from Tithi Kutchamuch, a London based designer, exploring her personal relationship with living creatures and meat.

Although the project was intended to experiment and express a personal point of view, the result is a provocative series of difficult images of meat animals contrasted with pets and five-legged chickens distorted by our consumption and disconnection from the meat as real living animals.
“It’s all about marketing, people treat meat the same as a pack of chips, without respect for its life,” explains Kutchamuch. “I don’t know what people really think, but they don’t treat meat like it comes from any living thing.”
