Based on the unique shapes of plastic bottles, lighting designer Heath Nash created Bottleformball from the remnants of discarded plastic.
“After working with bottles for four years, I began to see the bottles differently. They started to become very beautiful in their own right,” explains the artist. “This object is unapologetically made of waste, and beautiful for this.”
The colourful pendant light is both a stunning piece of visual art and a subtle condemnation of the ubiquitous presence of plastic in society.
