Is edible art a possible solution to conserving resources and eliminating waste? Imagine if you could enjoy the artwork for as long as you like and when you grow bored of it, or simply want a change, you consume the piece, leaving nothing behind but fond memories and a full belly.
Created for the Let Them Eat Art exhibit, Argentinean artist Leandro Erlich recently created an edible chocolate couch complete with incredible pseudo leather details including buttons, pleats and stitching. The piece, entitled You Can’t have Your Cake and Eat It Too, was created in conjunction with Guido Mogni of Sant Ambroeus.
