A new exhibit exploring the wonders of our feathered friends opens December 5th at The Schuylkill Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nest and Branch features the work of nine artists using the mediums of printmaking, drawing, painting, digital media, installation art, and book art, to explore themes of migration, flocking, and nesting, in addition to presenting imagery of endangered and extinct species.
Zoë Cohen curates Nest and Branch and exhibiting artists include Linda Byrne, Valerie Carrigan, Matthew Derezinski, Kelly Franklin, Kirsten Furlong, Mara Adamitz Scrupe, Marisha Simons, Elysa Voshell, and Michelle Wilson.
Nest and Branch continues until April 2, 2010.
