At the hands of French intervention artist Oliver Kosta-Théfaine, a BIC lighter becomes a sophisticated paintbrush. The innovative urban artist creates stunning art using his BIC lighter and available ceiling space.
Although it is hard to call BIC lighters green, using a lighter for art is still much more eco-friendly than using a BIC to light cigarettes. Researchers at the Tobacco Control Unit of Italy's National Cancer Institute in Milan found that tobacco smoke is ten times more polluting than the exhaust from an idling diesel vehicle.
