Giacomo Brunelli: The Animals.

Haunting images of animals, captured in natural light, are the subject of a new Giacomo Brunelli exhibit at the Photofusion Gallery in London, England.

Giacomo Brunelli: The Animals.

The black and white photography exhibit, The Animals, from the Italian-born, London-based photographer may not be entirely free from controversy as he explains his unorthodox photography methodology or '… ritual of interaction in order to get the shot he is happy with'.

Giacomo Brunelli: The Animals.

"When I focus on the subjects, I tend to be very precise, and I only take pictures in the natural morning light," says Brunelli of his work. "Once I see an animal that I want to photograph, I try to ignore it then I run after it which usually gains a response; sometimes I just stare at it and see what happens.”

Giacomo Brunelli: The Animals exhibit features images of both live and dead animals from February 5th to March 26th, 2010 at the Photofusion Gallery in London.
