With the world economy rapidly changing, unsettled weather and an uncertain future – how will the wealthy manage should they suffer a fall in fortune? Enter the Famiglia Grande (Grand Family), luxurious mobile sleeping units created by Hong Kong-based visual artist Kacey Wong.

The tongue-in-cheek Famiglia Grande allows a wealthy family of four (two adults and two children) to find temporary shelter in the style to which they are accustomed.

“My mobile units Famiglia Grande (Grand Family) was inspired by the recent economic tsunami when the rich lost their fortune overnight, my question is how can one live on the street but still maintain a facade of looking good and in style,” explains the artist of his work.

The Famiglia Grande exhibit is at the Hong Kong Museum of Art until April 25, 2010.
