The annual Burning Man Festival in the Black Rock Desert always generates some amazing innovations, inventions and sculptures. We particularly love how many alternative energy creations that come out of Burning Man – must be due to the festival’s focus on ingenuity and self-reliance.
These LED Light Trees, from electronics engineer Bill Watson, created from bamboo and LED-lit plexiglass leaves, offers a glowing array of computer-controlled patterns and colors, with each leaf able to be controlled individually to produce a rainbow of patterns and color options.
