Austin-based artist Lance Letscher creates these stunning collages utilizing paper scraps mined from local dumpsters in his neighborhood.
“The results are surprisingly colorful, not unlike a collection of quilts.Patterns range from the geometric and architectural array of stripes and cubes to fans and pinwheels that produce a softer, yet dizzying effect,” explains the D Berman Gallery, currently hosting his latest show.
The renowned collage artist’s exhibit Lance Letscher: Work from the middle ages, a collection of new collages is at the D Berman Gallery from December 11th 2011 until January 28th, 2012 in Wimberley, Texas.
