Swimming With Sea Creatures

Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to be able to travel in search of wild encounters with some of the worlds most incredible and awe inspiring creatures. The more I connected with the different species, the more I realised that they each had a very unique and wonderful purpose and message for helping mankind and the planet.

My first encounter with wild Cetaceans was in the Azores. The site of this small group of pretty islands is right in the migration path of a huge array of aquatic creatures. There I encountered a fantastic diversity of cetaceans, from huge Sperm Whales and smaller Pilot Whales to super pods of wild dolphins, Bottlenose, Riso, Common and Spotted.

On my last morning we encountered a super pod of about three hundred Bottlenose dolphins leaping and frolicking in an ocean cauldron of activity. It was as though they had gathered to say farewell in the most spectacular way.

As if this wasn’t incredible enough, in the dying moments of our final excursion onto the vast Atlantic Ocean, we were joined by a pod of Pilot Whales and one in particular seemed to fix itself right next to me in our inflatable boat. I had experienced a dream before travelling to the Azores, where a dolphin had taken a crystal from me and taken into the depths of the ocean to place it in a grid network running through the oceanic plates of our ‘Blue Planet’.

I was a little sad as I had felt sure that a dolphin would do this in reality as it had been such a vivid dream. I had become a little downcast at this non-event and felt that I may have failed in my task, until I realised that I had probably performed this already in my dream state and that I had to let go of that expectation and allow the universe to use me in whatever was the most appropriate way. However as I stared in awe at the beautiful black bullet shaped creature gliding effortlessly through the water next to me, I felt scrutinised by a tiny shining eye beneath the surface of the water. I suddenly realised that this was to be my healing ally.

I visualised the most beautiful crystal orb with a very pale blue hue, being placed in my hand, which I then passed to the whale. This was an etheric crystal similar to many that I work with in my healing with animals, people, environments and grid/ley lines. I call them ‘light crystals’ as they normally appear as quartz like crystal but with an inner fire or ‘light’. I am ‘given’ them energetically to be placed wherever they are most needed for healing and can take the form of many shapes and sizes.

The beautiful creature accepted the crystal and then immediately dived down and down and down, deeper and deeper into the azure water. I stared in amazement as I watched it descend as far as I could, completely ecstatic that I had accomplished my task with the help of this fantastic being as I ‘felt’ it place the crystal into the grid line.

My next adventure was swimming with Humpback Whales on the silver banks off the Dominican Republic which is one of the very few areas in the world, that people are allowed in the water with these leviathans. We lived on a boat for a week out in the ocean with them. Among many incredible encounters, I spent several hours with other groups sharing time with a magnificent mother and her young calf. I was so in awe of being eyeballed by the calf who alternated between suckling his mum, taking a breath and then doing the ‘rounds’ of inspecting these strange, wet suited, masked creatures that had invaded his domain!

However, I did not receive profound wisdom from the whales whilst in the water. I think I was too awe struck by their magnificence. It was only when I retired to my bunk at night that the messages came through thick and fast. We could hear the whales all around us at night, surfacing and blowing. In fact, if you were on deck you could be forced to run from one side to the other, so as not to miss another second of a chance to see a humpback in its natural habitat. We were hungry to gather and store as many encounters as possible, to fill life-long memories.

Whales and Planetary Healing

Before travelling to the whales I had been asked by a global network of healers to unite as part of an anchor group, to bring planetary healing. I had said that I would be with the humpbacks and would ask for their help in anchoring in this special energy of love which was called the divine lotus heart energy.

The night before the chosen date of the global connection, I lay in my bunk and reconnected with the mother whale. She laughingly said I could call her Gina. She said she knew how we humans loved to give names to things and needed a ‘handle’ to communicate. I thanked her from the bottom of my heart, for allowing us to spend time with her and her beautiful baby. She said that she had spent time with us because she wanted to teach and demonstrate to us the deeper concepts of trust. When you consider just how many humpback whales have been killed and still are being slaughtered by man, I found it almost inconceivable that this whale could show so much compassion and love for a species that was single handedly destroying her fellow beings and their environment. She said we needed to believe in trust and to learn to trust ourselves in the deepest meaning of the word.

I recorded the following conversation with Gina, so that I could relate it to you. I hurriedly scribbled down the notes when she had finished so I would not forget a word of her wisdom:

Madeleine:What do you know of the lotus heart?”

Gina: “The lotus heart cushions the planet. The more you send out love to the planet and send love into yourselves, the more the planet will be lowered into the love and protection of the divine love of the lotus. Visualize the earth, becoming wrapped in the joy and divinity of the one love, encapsulated by the lotus.”

Madeleine: “What about the Akashic records, do you hold the keys?”
I wanted to know about this as I had been told that whales are the record keepers for all humanity and these records are called the Akashic records.

Gina:
“You all, each and every one of you, hold the key to the wisdom of the Akashic records. The key is held in your heart. In order to turn and open the key, you have to send love to yourself. You appear and feel like a tiny ant, randomly running around.
Your perception is that you are separate, with no purpose. But you must realize that one ant is part of the whole, working to build, strengthen and protect the hill (the earth). Remember the power of the ant to move mountains. You often feel ‘what can one person do? What use am I?’ Remember the ant and become as one to build the whole.”

The amount of compassion and caring that poured out of these words that filled my mind in the small hours of the night, curled up in my bunk, overwhelmed me. It was as though the whale was treating mankind as some kind of wayward, delinquent that had gone off the rails. All that was needed was love and understanding to bring them back on track.

I reflected on her analogy, comparing me to the ant, and I remembered that size for size the ant was capable of moving its mountain equivalent.

I had been feeling isolated and separate, feeling sometimes like a voice in the wilderness. I had the love from the animals, but I wasn’t integrating that into myself enough and equating it to self-love. What a gift of awareness Gina gave to me.

Anchoring the Energy

The next day I invited anyone who might be interested to join in the anchoring of the divine lotus heart energy and I described Gina’s visualization and what we had to concentrate on. In meditation I had visualized the planet earth. It was floating above a huge lotus with a million petals opened in invitation, for the planet to draw succour from its protection. It was just waiting for the planet to be gently lowered into its centre.

So at the agreed hour, whilst out in the ocean, we concentrated on the planet descending gently into the waiting lotus to be enveloped in its love. I hoped that our combined efforts around the world would help send healing to our ailing planet. I also send out the biggest waves of loving thanks to the whales that I could muster and hoped that Gina would feel my gratitude from her ocean depths. That night I was thrilled to visualize in my meditation, a huge shift in the planet. There, to my amazement, was the earth completely wrapped by the petals of the lotus. Something had happened from all our healing intent and I vehemently prayed that the planet benefited physically.

My next adventure was with Whale sharks and giant Manta Rays off a tiny island in Mexico. The whale sharks were so accepting of our presence, I felt so honoured and fortunate to have been able to share unique moments with them. The first occasion I travelled to Mexico to swim with them I was also committed to visiting Chichen Itza, the ancient Mayan Temple, after my ocean adventures. I connected with a particular male whale shark who said that he had important information regarding the temple and that when I got there he would give me further instructions.

So when I arrived in front of the spectacular pyramid in the centre of the Mayan complex, I asked the whale shark to direct me in my task. He ‘told’ me that this pyramid was connected to the great pyramid at Giza and that I had to again create a crystal orb above the pyramid and then send a beam of light up through Orion’s belt and then down to the Egyptian pyramid and then allow the beam to return to Chichen Itza, creating a triangle of light. I had no idea of the exact significance of this but I followed my guide and hoped that it would help with the planetary energy once again.

On the second most recent trip we were blessed again with fabulous encounters with these noble creatures that are enormous gentle giants of the sea, accepting our presence with phenomenal grace. We were lucky enough to interact with a huge Manta ray with a wing span of about 4-5 metres. It flew like a huge angel through the ocean and allowed us to accompany it for 2 hours. We were totally honoured that day.

I mimicked its fluid motion, drifting above it with the ocean current, mirroring its movements as I looked down at the awesome creature beneath me and swam eye to eye when it surfaced, pouring out my love and gratitude for allowing me to be in its presence. It told me it was divining the oceanic energy grid lines and was assessing the energy flow for damage or negative vibrations, particularly for the influx of energy on the summer solstice.

I reflected how fortunate I was to have been so honoured by all these incredible creatures and that I may, in some small way, have been of service in helping them raise awareness of the importance of the natural world to mankind’s existence and that of the planet and how lucky we are that the animals continue to care enough despite out wanton destruction. They still have the capacity to send us love, forgiveness and compassion.
