The Mini Capsule hotel is a small-space design solution by the Dutch art group Atelier Van Lieshout. The Mini Capsule hotel design provides sleeping accommodation for twelve people.
Stacked together, the units look like a large fibre-glass rabbit hutch. Each of the six hotel units has just enough space for two people to sleep; the interior is not much larger than a double bed and is equipped with the basics: a mattress, sheets, blankets, a nightlight, clothing hooks, an electricity outlet and a shelf. The Mini Capsule is made to function as a budget hotel without staff or as an innovative solution to the growing homeless crisis.
