CasAnus, designed by Dutch art group Atelier Van Lieshout, follows the human digestive system from the tongue to the stomach to the intestine to the anus. Although the building is anatomically correct, the anus component of the building is large enough to accommodate a hotel room.

The innovative design is constructed from recycled materials and is designed to invoke the cycles of exchange between humans their environment.

CasAnus, located at the Verbeke Foundation in Belgium, is available as an innovative (and rather alternative) accommodation when you are visiting the foundation.
