Living in the Arctic presents its own set of unique challenges and Ukrainian designers 2-B-2 Architecture believe climate change is only going to make it much more unstable. To deal with the vulnerability of living in a rapidly changing climate, they have created the Arctic Mobile Unit.
The autonomous Arctic Mobile Unit has the ability to accommodate three people for a maximum of fifteen days in weather ranges of -40°C to +10°C (-40F to +50F) with winds up to 85 kph (53mph).

The easily transportable shelter comes complete with a bathroom, work/rest area, and kitchen. Each Arctic Mobile Unit operates on solar power and a 5kW generator.
