The sustainable and stunning Shanghai Corporate Pavilion, constructed in part from recycled CD cases, is scheduled for completion in the next few weeks for the opening of Expo 2010.

The Shanghai Pavilion, designed by Beijing-based Atelier Feichang Jianzhu, has numerous green features including an extensive solar thermal energy system where energy is harvested via roof-mounted heat collecting tubes. An elaborate rainwater catchment system provides water to cool the inside of the building.

Shanghai Pavilion also features a multicoloured LED lightshow that will light up the night during Expo 2010.
