With growing fear of a future filled with rising sea levels and diminishing available land, Turkish architects Sinan Gunay and Mustafa Bulgur have created the City(e)scape, a futuristic concept design proposal for eVolvo.
The City(e)scape features structures that attach to existing skyscrapers (in cities that will be covered in water) to create a second city 70 meters (230ft) above the waterline. Connected via catwalks and bridges, the skyscraper cities will feature vast areas for growing food and will also include access to the sea.
