The quandary of what to do with all those empty beer boxes when you are a student has just been solved by the experimental pavilion BOXEL. Designed by students at the Detmolder Schule in Germany, the BOXEL is constructed with more than 2,000 beer boxes and is organized as free form geometry.

The temporary summer pavilion was constructed in less than a week with the wooden beer boxes donated by the local brewery. All materials will be recycled when the BOXEL is disassembled.
