The Two Seasons Hotel, featuring a rolling green roof, recently opened in Stavanger, Norway. The JDS Architects' hotel offers 194 rooms spread over six floors with the entire structure built on a multi-storey parking garage.
The existing five level parking garage was a major factor in the final design, and the elevated hotel offers more privacy and better views for the hotel guests.
The central area of the hotel includes a private courtyard and the rooftop features a terrace area for guests. The first few levels of the new complex accommodate the hotel lobby, a restaurant, bar and lounge.
