The City and the Skyline vertical farm design concept by Indian designers Anto Gloren and Sayali Athale recently won first place in the HP Skyline 2020 Competition.
Their unique design is comprised of several towers of multi-tiered, self-sufficient modular housing units each with an individual green roof for growing vegetables. The City and the Skyline design also has the ability to grow as needed and can expand into its surroundings via the addition of more modular housing units.
