Rue Amelot, Paris, is the project location of Stephane Malka’s (Malka Architecture) wooden pallet skinned house fabricated entirely from recycled material. In a bid to minimize construction pollution, he used hinged pallets to create private or open space and as a modular approach to minimize energy and cost.

The pallets form the outer walls of the building and can be adjusted to allow light, and heat to pass through.
