The Super Collider Pavilion by Michael Jantzen.

Renowned American artist Michael Jantzen has created a rather unusual proposal for a public art installation. Dubbed The Super Collider Pavilion, the conceptual proposal for a large public art project would be constructed entirely from steel.

“It is intended to symbolically refer to an actual high energy particle accelerator such as the Large Hadron Collider built in Switzerland,” explains the artist. “In this proposal, visitors can climb the stairs and walk onto the circular path that leads to the symbolic collision of particles.”

A large cluster of white tubes and black spheres symbolize the paths that the particles would take immediately after colliding.
