Polli-Brick Recycled Building Blocks

E-mail Print

MINIWIZ is turning your recycled plastic water and soft drink (PET) bottles into state of the art green architecture building blocks. Using the international standard PET bottle recycling process to break down the materials into its original pellet state, MINIWIZ designed and engineered a manufacturing system and an interlocking structural geometry that re-shapes these recycled PET materials into construction strength architecture bricks.

Polli-Brick is a transparent or translucent construction strength bottle that interlocks to form a honeycomb structure. Utilizing its container characteristics, Polli-Brick is capable of holding a large volume of air which results in desirable thermal insulating and sound proofing qualities.

Polli-Brick was recently awarded a major architecture commission to engineer and design the world’s first and only portable recycled polymer green building spanning over 85 meters and 5000 sq meters for the Taipei International Expo in 2010.

There is a fair bit of comment out there about the Polli-Brick. But, the big news you have scooped is how big the Polli-Brick building in Taipei is going to be! That's one big, recycled building!!
