The Green Belt City, a new 15,000 unit, 60-acre (243,000m2) residential community in Las Vegas is a proposal for the sustainable and high-tech use of natural solutions for comfortable desert living.

The Green Belt City development from Work Architecture Company, features three towers of photovoltaic solar cells and integrated wind turbines for electricity. A living wastewater machine will filter all water used in the complex. Electric charging stations are also included.

The luxurious complex will have a lot of communal space for residences to enjoy the outdoors including private parks and a 2.5-mile long public rooftop promenade. Now if they could only conjure up a water source the development would be perfect.
