Architecture meets biomorphism in the Conch Shell House, located on the Isla Mujeres, in the sunny Caribbean Sea. Designed by well-known Mexican artist Octavio Ocampo, the house allows inhabitants the opportunity to experience what it is like living in an enormous seashell (although we wonder if you can ‘hear’ the sea in every room…).

The Conch Shell House features no corners, all walls and floors are rounded with the seashell motif repeated throughout the unusual island home. The home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private pool. Perhaps best of all, the Conch Shell House is available for rent to tourists.
