Lead singer of the Flaming Lips, Wayne Coyne’s renovated Oklahoma City home, designed by Fitzsimmons Architects, can be described as a ‘back-to-the-future 1950s’ vision of the 21st century home.

They raised the roof of their warehouse home, and fitted lots of windows. The roof is double-skinned and provides shading from the sun. A private garden is adjacent to the Coyne’s bedroom, with a wood-burning stove for heat and a skull tile pattern in the floor. The cave-like bathroom is Gaudian white concrete and illuminated by LED lighting.

The living room was a three-car garage, and outside the home, in the courtyard is the 'Dragon Egg'. which looks like a supe-rsized disco ball-like that reflects light beams into the surrounding buildings and rooms.
