The OrganiCube concept from Austrian designer Chris Precht explores and celebrates living in a compact space. Designed to be compact and income-appropriate, the self-contained living unit measures a mere 3×3x3m.
Chris Precht explains the design concept as, “The idea is to take facilities that inherently belong to living and to its tradition and transform it into a coherent design. Through its cubic shape, the OrganiCube can be easily stacked and implemented in many environments.”
The OrganiCube is designed to contain all the elements needed for urban living, including a sleeping area for 1-2 people, living space, a work area and a separate bathroom.
“The interior is inspired by natural forms and as a concept design it should be beyond borders and maybe launch a discussion about living concepts or materialism,” explains Chris Precht.
