Guevara’s Veggie Legacy

E-mail Print

Lydia Guevara, the granddaughter of Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara, is following in her granddad's footsteps by calling for a "vegetarian revolution" in a new PETA campaign.

As part of PETA’s first campaign in South America, PETA approached 24 year old Lydia Guevara to pose semi-nude in the pro veggie campaign. Wearing only two bandoliers of carrots, with her fist in the air, the vegetarian campaign promotes the start of a “vegetarian revolution” in South America.

"PETA's fight for animals was one of the reasons why I went vegetarian," Lydia told the Spanish news agency Efe. "Moreover, this lifestyle has become a true revolution that is attracting more people and is an alternative that is healthier for the planet and for humankind."

It is so nice to know you exist, Lydia, and are carrying out your grandfather's legacy. You might be interested in what has come through my life pertaining to your grandfather's legacy as well. I have written a book THE CHE DIARIES from an experience I have had and continue to have with the essence of your famous grandfather. This is not a hoax or some BS, and it is written under direction of an authentic messenger that you will come to know in the book. Now that I am aware of you, I will learn about your work, share my work with you, and be supportive in any way I can for a cause I also agree with.
