Lydia Guevara, the granddaughter of Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara, is following in her granddad's footsteps by calling for a "vegetarian revolution" in a new PETA campaign.
As part of PETA’s first campaign in South America, PETA approached 24 year old Lydia Guevara to pose semi-nude in the pro veggie campaign. Wearing only two bandoliers of carrots, with her fist in the air, the vegetarian campaign promotes the start of a “vegetarian revolution” in South America.
"PETA's fight for animals was one of the reasons why I went vegetarian," Lydia told the Spanish news agency Efe. "Moreover, this lifestyle has become a true revolution that is attracting more people and is an alternative that is healthier for the planet and for humankind."
