It may come as a relief to many that Brad Pitt’s amazing foundation Make It Right, created to help rebuild New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward sustainably, finally has a new and improved website.
The revamped website is much easier to use and is simply brimming with eco-building information; including blogs focusing on eco-building, green technology and design. The Make It Right Foundation is taking a comprehensive, proactive approach to raising awareness about the benefits (and cost savings) associated with building green.
Visitors to the new upgraded site will find plenty of eco-building information to keep them busy and a lot more detail about the Make It Right Foundation’s work and progress in New Orleans.
Brad Pitt recently received an eco-award for “largest and greenest single family community in the world” from the US Green Building Council, recognizing his green housing project in a Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans. The LEED Award was given to Pitt at the recent Clinton Global Initiative meeting in New York.
