The Polarez from Polaroid.

Lady Gaga and Polaroid recently unveiled the Polarez, a Gaga-inspired pair of glasses that incorporate a built-in 5-megapixel camera and two 1.4inch (3.56cm) organic light emitting diode (OLED) screens. Lady Gaga is a creative director at Polaroid.

The Polarez camera image can be displayed on the OLED screens while still retaining some visibility around the screens. Inside the GL20 glasses is a SD memory card slot to store your photos, and a shutter button positioned on the side of the high tech shades. The Polarez camera is due to be released commercially later in 2011.

Other products in the Polaroid Grey Label Products' range showcased by Gaga included the GL10 instant mobile printer, based on a 3inch x 4inch (7.5cm x 10cm) ZINK portable printer that uses rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, with USB or Bluetooth connectivity.

According to Gaga, ZINK’s low environmental impact also includes eliminating ink cartridges or ribbons, requiring only the heat activated special paper composite which incorporates cyan, yellow, and magenta dye crystals embedded within.
