People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has named British import, and all around sexy guy, Russell Brand, in conjunction with actress Kristen Wiig, the Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities of 2011. Each year the animal welfare organization highlights two celebrities, one male and one female, who are working to raise awareness about the benefits of consuming a plant based diet.
Although we can’t help but wonder if all the candy and cupcakes, that are so much a part of Brand’s wife Katy Perry's performances, are also cruelty free or made with animal lard and dairy? Lastly, we don’t think anyone can beat Alicia Silverstone as the sexiest vegetarian on the planet – sorry Kristen Wiig.
