German car manufacturer e-WOLF GmbH has created a stunning electric sportscar that combines formula racing technology with an ultralight carbon/aluminium-construction chassis and innovative flat cell technology.
The sexy two-seater e-WOLF e-2 does a 0-100 kph (0-62mph) in less than 5 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kph (155mph) with four wheel-mounted 134-horsepower electric motors, giving a peak power output of around 400kW (536hp) and 1000Nm (737 ft.lb) of tarmac ripping torque. The vehicle itself weighs only 900kg ( 1,984lb).
Energy storage is in 84 flat cell lithium ion battery packs with an estimated range of 300 kms (186 miles) per charge after a recharge of just 30 minutes.
Production is planned for 2011.
