Concept cars don’t often get translated into production, but their designs open up possibilities and it is always fun to dream of an amazing alternative energy vehicle.
Created by Romanian industrial designer Vlad Icobet, the Renault Aeon is a sexy, sleek, all-electric car designed for urban commuting. The low-riding, aerodynamically engineered, two-seater vehicle was inspired by modern architecture and natural organic forms.
The polycarbonate surface of the vehicle is covered with photovoltaic cells to recharge the vehicle’s batteries and electronics.
