Honda’s Urban P-NUT

The Honda P-NUT.

Honda recently unveiled the three-seater, multi powertrain P-NUT (Personal-Neo Urban Transport). The urban ultra-compact concept car is designed to utilize one of three rear-mounted powertrains: electric, gas-electric hybrid and a fuel-efficient gas engine.

The driver sits in the middle, with a passenger on either side; the small footprint vehicle offers lots of sightlines with an expansive windshield/roof combination design. It is 3.4m long, 1.75m wide and 1.4m high (11.2 x 5.7 x 4.6 feet), which makes it smaller than a Mini Cooper, but bigger than a Smartcar.

Looks good , that's what we need here in America. More and better choices of cars that get real good gas mileage , dependable and not over $20,000. I drive 120 miles to and from work everyday. Almost every car I see on the road has only one person in it. The P-Nut carries three people , that works for me. Car companies need to impress car buyers , not stock holders.

Maybe you should consider driving less - for the planet.
