Is wood the new green? Designed and handcrafted by Sada-Kenbi craftsmen in Japan, the Maniwa Wooden Car is a street legal wooden car.
The small car has space for a driver and two passengers and comes complete with a motorcycle style steering wheel, gullwing doors and a stereo. The $44,000 (€29,600) wooden car can accelerate up to 80kph (50mph), not quite fast enough for the highway but definitely fun in the city.
