American designer James Piatt has released some images of his sexy plug-in hybrid concept – the MOFO (no, we are not kidding about the name!). The classical roadster design is intended to convey simplicity and purity via well-defined curves and sculptural forms.
“Many motor enthusiasts like myself still love the smell of gas and the sound of a roaring engine. At the same time it is great to have the ability to switch it off and run 100% electric,” explains Piatt.
Piatt plans to produce 300 handmade MOFO hybrids at the Motofuguzzi manufacturing facility in South Africa in 2012.
