General Motors recently unveiled three renditions of their EN-V electric concept vehicles – the Xiao, the Jiao and the Miao at the Shanghai Auto Show.

The two-seat urban electric vehicle, designed by GM’s American Advanced R&D team, is extremely compact, measuring about six feet (1.83m) in height, four feet wide (1.22m) and four feet long (1.22m). The 3kW electric motor is powered from lithium ion cells with a 25-mile range (40.2km) and utilizes Segway’s propulsion system.

The EN-V electrical concept vehicle get 25mph (40kph), utilizes a drive by-wire steering system, a hand-operated accelerator and brake, and weighs less than 880lbs (400kg). The EN-V vehicles are also able to turn 180 degrees – ideal for parking in urban environments.
