Prolific and eccentric French designer Philippe Starck has created two micro wind turbines for home use called the Revolutionair turbines.
Made by Italian manufacturer Pramac, the stylish, but fully functional Revolutionair turbines are designed for gardens or rooftops; the quadrangular 400W WT model can generate 400W and the helicoidal 1KW WT generates 1 KW of power.
Prices will range from €2,500 to €3,500 (US$3,500 – 4,900).
