Danish designers Michel Riss and Jens Rosbjerg from RiisRos, have created an interesting rendition of the familiar streetlight. Dubbed the Sun Flower, the solar cell powered streetlight is designed to illuminate public areas while serving as an attractive and sustainable contribution to the cityscape.

Each Sun Flower has five photovoltaic modules located on top of the light to harvest the sun’s energy and power the 56W LED lamps.
