Survivaballs in Washington.

Washington was the home to some shenanigans Tuesday morning (October 20, 2009) when a crowd of activists in Survivaballs chased after Pennsylvania’s Democratic Senator Arlen Specter demanding that he support the climate bill or purchase Survivaball outfits for his constituents.

Survivaballs are climate change survival suits designed by political pranksters The Yes Men to raise awareness about America’s lack of climate change action and to poke fun at climate change naysayers.

The latest stunt comes just a day after The Yes Men punked the US Chamber of Commerce and held a fake press conference announcing that the Commerce had reversed their blatant anti-climate change agenda and was now supporting climate change legislation

It looks like it will be a week of fun filled activism with The Yes Men leading up to the international Day of Climate Action on October 24, 2009.
