Mexican designer Victor Aleman’s Eco 7 Folding Bicycle concept combines the best of design innovations with the green world. The innovative folding bicycle disassembles and folds up into the size of a small suitcase.
Bicycle frames are usually a bit easier to fold, but where Aleman’s Eco 7 knocks it out of the design ballpark is with his incredible folding wheel design.
“The wheel is composed by six modules, each one has a double pivot in the joints, this allows the wheel to fold and become smaller, the spokes are contained in the inner structure of the wheel, when you unfold the system, the spokes rotate to the center of the mechanism where it attaches to the center of the wheel,” explains the artist of his design.
