It’s time for the HYbrid3 Evolution according to Peugeot. The three-wheel drive hybrid scooter concept made its debut at the Milan International Cycle and Motorbike Show.
Peugeot’s fuel efficient, low emission scooter offers a 36kW (49bhp) of power, with fuel consumption at 50kms/liter (118mpg US) while creating 48g/km (2.75oz/mile) of CO2 emissions.
The HYbrid 3 Evolution has electric motors in the two front wheels with a naturally aspirated engine at the rear. The 3kW (4bhp) electric wheel motors are powered by energy stored in lithium-ion batteries. The batteries are recharged by the energy recovery system during deceleration and braking.
The HYbrid3 Evolution can be driven in three different modes including electric mode, gasoline mode and a combination of the two.
