Arnold’s Electric Moto Promo

The Governator (aka California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger) recently announced that Californians would be eligible for $1,500 (€1,118) off various electric motorcycle models via the California Clean Vehicle Rebate Program. The rebate was announced in conjunction with a promo event spotlighting Zero Motorcycles.

“As you know I am a big believer in reducing greenhouse gases and a big believer in technology. They cost less than one cent a mile to operate and I love the financial side of these motorcycles,” explained Schwarzenegger at a press conference. “It's part of our overall strategy to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by the year 2020. It’s technology that will save us all. ”

The Zero DS dual sport motorcycle and the Zero S will now be available to California residents at the price of $7,495 (€5,589) after the $1,500 California Clean Vehicle Program rebate and the 10% federal tax credit.
