The E-Trike, by NY artist Josh Hadar, is an all-electric powered motorcycle trike that uses a carbon-steel chopper-style frame and is about the size of a Smart Car at 8.4ft (2.56m) in length. A 4.8kw (6.4hp) continuous output electric motor, boosted to 15kw (20.1hp), gives the black chopper a 45mph (72.4kph) top speed, and puts the power to the road via 26 inch rear wheels, with a 20 inch front wheel.

Power storage comes from four 12V lead-acid batteries giving a range of 30 miles (48kms), which would be doubled with higher-power density lithium-ion batteries. Keeping it green, Hadar uses a 750W photovoltaic power generation panel on his studio to charge his E-Trike.
