The Good Bike Project.

The Good Bike Project transforms abandoned bicycles into works of urban art. Toronto artists Caroline Macfarlane & Vanessa Nicholas, weary of seeing the neglected bicycles rusting away in the city, decided to take matters into their own hands.

They decided to turn the forgotten bicycles into vibrant urban masterpieces.

To date, more than thirty-six bicycles have been transformed with vibrant paint colors, living plants, baskets, and other innovations. The transformative Good Bike Project continues to grow in scope and popularity.

Oh my goodness. How amazing are those bikes?! I am so happy to read about people taking the initiative to take care of things that need to be taken care of instead of letting these bicycles just rot away with no hope of salvation. This is a very uplifting piece and the photos are amazing. I hope that other cities will soon see things like this.
