The low-emission electric powered German Sealander, an amphibious caravan prototype, is a mobile recreational vehicle/house that also has the ability to transform into a boat to enjoy calm shallow waters during your vacation or nomadic lifestyle.

The Sealander comes equipped with all your basic caravanning needs including a stove, sink, cooler, and a seat that transforms into a comfy bed.

“Through its integrated waterproof chassis, the Sealander can be without trailers and slipway and easily launched,” explains the website. “ Due to the shallow draft it can also navigate shallow waters. A low-emission electric motor allows the unlicensed use of almost all inland waters.”
It is expected to cost in the neighbourhood of €15,000 (US$20,800).
