New Yorkers has a bit of a surprise when they received an unusual edition of the New York Post on September 21, 2009. The special edition of the paper, created by activist group The Yes Men, detailed the coming effects of climate change.
The 32-page edition of the New York Post contained factual information about global climate change with headlines of "massive climate catastrophes" and "public health disasters” and was distributed to several million New Yorkers by a team of volunteers.
The prank was organized to raise awareness about the need for action on climate change as leaders from around the globe are currently in New York to generate momentum for the climate change talks in Copenhagen in December.
