Sex workers in Copenhagen are offering free climate change sex to anyone who can produce one of Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard postcards warning delegates away from the local sex trade with an accompanying COP15 identity card.
According to the website avisen.dk, the Copenhagen Mayor sent postcards to the city’s hotels encouraging summit delegates to steer clear of Danish sex workers. The postcards read - 'Be sustainable, don't buy sex.’
Copenhagen sex workers refused to take the ban lying down and are fighting back by offering the free sex deal.
What happened to the notion of making love not war?
"Ritt Bjerregaard is abusing her position as Lord Mayor in using her power to prevent us carrying out our perfectly legal job. I don't understand how she can be allowed to contact people in this way," Susanne Møller, Sex Workers Interest Group spokeswoman, explained in a recent interview.
