5,480 recycled plastic bottles were used to create an enormous Christmas tree in the center of Haifa, Israel.
Israeli designer Hadas Itzcovitch and her father, Ernest Itzcovitch, created the 38ft (11.6m) high tree, illuminated with LED lights to raise awareness about the importance of trees, recycling and living in harmony with the environment.
All the bottles were collected by local residents and donated to the Itzcovitchs.
