Seventy-five sets of traffic lights were artfully upcycled into a stunning seasonal tree by French sculptor Pierre Vivant for the Public Art Commissions Agency in London.
"The sculpture imitates the natural landscape of the adjacent London Plane Trees, while the changing pattern of the lights reveals and reflects the never ending rhythm of the surrounding domestic, financial and commercial activities,” explained the artist of his installation.
The 8 meter (26.3 foot) tall sculpture managed to promote festive cheer as well as reminding drivers to drive carefully during the holiday season.
